Michael D. PETRAGLIA is Professor of Human Evolution and Prehistory, Senior Research Fellow and Co-Director of Centre for Asian Archaeology, Art & Culture, School of Archaeology, University of Oxford. He is also a Senior Research Fellow, Linacre College (Oxford) and a member of the Human Origins Program, Smithsonian Institution. His research has been covered in numerous international, national and regional newspapers (especially in the UK, throughout Europe, India, Australia and the USA), scientific magazines (e.g., Nature, Science, New Scientist), popular magazines (e.g., Archaeology Magazine), television, radio programmes (BBC World Service; BBC Material World) and on public-oriented internet pages (e.g., Nature News, National Geographic News, Scientific American, New Scientist, BBC News).
