June 8th morning Thomas Berdnt will be giving a presentation at 10am in room 618 of building 3. His presentation is entitled  “The effects of heating and cooling rates on geological materials”.

 

Thomas is a PhD student from Imperial College London, who is working with Dr. Adrain Muxworthy developing new fundamental rock magnetic theory to apply to geological problems. Thomas has been visiting IGGCAS for two months to perform low temperature experiments on our MPMS and he will talk about some of his PhD work and measurements he has been performing here.
